Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My mother had my son's truck finaced(he is twenty-six), my son has been making all the payments and it's insured in his name only, with full coverages. His wife totaled the truck,she is also on insurance policy and there were injuries. My mom has a bill of sale with my son. Is she liable for the other person's injuries?
