Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I went to a Pain Management/Neurologist for my second spinal steroid/epidural and the procedure went horribly. I've been out on disability since. The doc put a false report in my file stating that the procedure went well. I beleive that his assistant would tell the truth, but that he wouldn't. Is a false medical report fraud, and how do I find a lawyer who will take a non catastrophic case? Also how do I report the malfeasance to the authorities? Do you think it is worth persuing?

Speak with a medical malpractice lawyer. It is difficult to prove that a medical record is false and I wouldn't count on help from the assistant. The Republicans that control the legislature have rigged the med mal system against those injured by malpractice. The process is so expensive that, absent a serious and significant injury, rarely can the case be brought. The Legislature calls that preventing "frivolous" lawsuits. It's a crock, but it is the law.
