Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

personal injury auto accident

i was in a fender bender in a parking lot and am being sued for personal injuy. i was not ticked but appearently at fault. i am represented by my insurer but the case has not been settled. i have been asked to appear for a deposition. how can I get my insurer to settle before it goes to trial?
