Yes, but i would need more facts to explain.
Re: personnel injury
Hello,
I am sorry to hear about your injury. Our office handles a lot of injury claims against the cruise lines. Most of the cruise lines have language in the small print in the ticket requiring that any lawsuit against them is filed in Florida within one year of the date of injury. If you wait too long, then your claim will be barred. You will probably need to speak to a lawyer in Florida right away. We would be happy to discuss the situation with you. We offer a free initial consultation, and there is no obligation to retain us to represent you.

Re: personnel injury
Yes - but you should contact a lawyer to discuss the details. Your ticket (the very very small print on the back) contains significant limitations to your rights to sue and shortens the time to do so. Do not delay. You will need a lawyer that specializes in admiralty and maritime law. It is a huge mistake to get someone who does not. The laws regarding injuries on a boat are different that if you slipped on land, stargely enough.
You can contact us for more information. We do specialize in admiralty and maritime law. You can learn more at our web site: FlaBoatLaw . com or at Wagnerlaw . com.
Good luck!
