Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was rear ended twice within a six month period (2006 and 2007) and sustained herniated discs. After three years of treatment that didn't help, I had the surgery (metal plate, bone fusion). I have a white collar felony conviction from 2003. How could this felony conviction affect the amount of my settlement?
