Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I recently sold a truck to a man who lives 80 miles from me and I discontinued the insurance on the vehicle.. I do not have a bill of sale. He has not changed the title. He will not answer my phone calls and will not come to his door. If he has an accident with the truck, am I liable for damages?

I hope you have some evidence of the sale or a cancelled check or something. Otherwise, it the buyer does not admit he bought the car, it becomes a question of fact.
