Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
I was snaking the vents on the roof because the landlord asked, when I was climbing down the ladder I fell. I went to the ER and fractured my wrist, and hurt my back. I was told by the MD to rest and not work for 2 weeks. I am self employed and make on average $400 per day so I would ultimately be out about $4000( not counting further pain preventing me from working longer) Is the landlord responsible for accidents resulting in pain and loss of wages? I had a back injury years ago and have been off of pain management for over a year, but since falling, my old injury has been aggravated and feels worse than it did originally 12 years ago.

It is possible that he could be found liable if he asked you to do dangerous work. A landlord remains responsible for maintaining a safe premises and not putting the tenant in danger.
See a lawyer to review the facts carefully, but my gut impression is that you would only be entitled to medical payments under his insurance policy, assuming he has med pay.
