How did the accident happen? You are entitled to WC . Does your employer have coverage for you?
If the accident occured at work and your employer has worker's compensation coverage, it will pay for your medical care and lost wages from day one of the employment. Seek legal help asap. Did you see a doctor on your own? Did you notify the employer about the accident? you have had this problem more than 45 days already, is everyone including your employer aware it is work related?
I'm sorry to hear about your injury. How did you injure your hand? Was there anyone other than a co-worker involved in causing the injury?
