Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
In the State of Florida when a personal injury is settled is the law that the attorney pay all debts incurred as a result of the accident such as hospital bill, drs. bills, etc, from the settlement or is that the responsibility of the plaintiff?

If they were claimed or acknowledged as liens, the attorney must pay them out of the client's share.

The attorney is responsible for dealing with the bills which are liens. If there are not liens, the client is ultimately responsible for getting the bills paid, and sometimes the proceeds can be distributed to them and they would need to get them paid. The money to pay the bills always comes from the client's proceeds.
