Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

What would be the status of a Civil Complaint that is filed within the Statue of Limitations� but service of process cannot be performed within the complaint limitation date. It appears the Defendant is hiding out.

The complaint relates back to the date of filing no matter when service is achieved. You need to get court to grant an extension on the service beyond the 120 days.
