Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Can you be sued by someone that was hurt in another vehicle/bus if there was no accident? I almost was hit by a bus in the bus had to come to a screeching stop,and someone was getting ready to get off the bus i guess and was injured because the bus had to stop which made the bus jerk to avoid hitting my car.

Yes. I can't say whether you are likely to lose based upon the limited information you have provided. But if you were at fault then the fact that the bus driver managed to avoid hitting you would not bar the passenger's suit.
