Suing a corporation

Can a corporation be sued for a personal injury involving a vehicle owned by this corporation?I have been told you cannot sue a corporation....

That is incorrect. You can sue any entity or person, so long as they or their agents owed you a duty of care.

The injured person has a claim against the owner of the vehicle, whether it is a corporation or an individual. He or she may also have a claim agains the driver, depending upon the circumstances. The person can sue the corporation. However, in Florida the corporation cannot defend itself. It is required to retain counsel.

Not true. You absolutely can sue a corporate owner of a vehicle for personal injuries.

Of course. I would not be surprised if there is insurance purchased by the corporation for its vehicles operation. Do you have a traffic report?

Yes -- you can sue them. There are limitations sometimes on what can be recovered.
