This can be a complicated issue and a lot more facts would be required. If the person swore out an arrect affidavit that was false and known to be so, then, you typically do have a claim. If the person simply informed the police about certain matter, even if false, and thepolice made an independent investigation which, at the conclusion, led them to charge you, then generally the answer to your question is no. You really need to sit down with a lawyer and go over all the facts for reliable advice.
