Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I volunteer at an animal shelter. A dog has bitten a worker. If we adopt this dog out, and the shelter is sued because it bites the new owner, does that mean the Board of Directors is sued?

I am not exactly sure of wha you are asking. However, if you sell the dog, have a disclosure of its propensities and a release of liability.
