Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I am writing a demand letter for damages from a broken tooth from a national hamburger chain. The restaurant is an incorporation. Do I address the letter to the owner/owners, or the named incorporation or a titled person within the incorporation? \nThank You,\nJeff

Hello, I am sorry to hear about your situation. Your letter should probably be addressed to either the Head of Risk Management for the Corporation or the adjuster assigned to your claim. Usually, a claim is made and the facts set forth before a demand package is sent, this will afford the corporation\'s risk management division an opportunity to investigate the claim and give you a chance to give your testimony.\n\nIf you have further questions please feel free to contact my office.\n\nDavid Lipton

If it is operated by a franchisee, you write to the operator.
