Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
One year ago my 56 year old spouse had a hemorrhagic stroke after using OTC pseudoephedrine nasal decongestant according to package directions. He was in good health prior to this catastrophic damage. He lost his ability to speak and he could not move his left arm or leg for months. He has struggled with therapy to improve speech and walk with walker or cane .He is still trying to gain function of his left hand/arm. Several months after the brain hemorrhage he had brain seizures. He's now on lots of medicines. After I researched on internet I found many medical journal articles reporting that pseudoephedrine can cause hemorrhagic stroke even when used correctly. The label on the package does not inform consumers of the possible serious adverse effects. From what type of attorney should I seek advice? Does this sound like a case against the drug company?IWe need to recovery in every way.

Products liability attorney.
You need to have the case evaluated by an attorney or law firm who has or is litigating cases like yours because they have the latest updates in this area. I work with several law firms who specialize in these types of liability cases. In order to help assist you in obtaining representation i would need a more in depth factual background about what happened which includes exact dates and times of when the OTC product was purchased and used. As well as when the medical problems first were noticed by you or your spouse. I would suggest you call me on my cell (561) 502-1297 to set up an appointment to discuss this in detail. Im looking forward to speaking with you.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband. You need to speak to an attorney who is skilled in product liability claims and who has handled cases against drub manufacturers before. In particular, you should speak to an attorney who is board certified in civil trial law, as are the attorneys in our office.
These are complicated cases. We offer a free initial consultation and would be happy to speak to you about the situation.
