Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

about a year and a half ago almost 2, was in the hospital for ms. i spilled chicken noodle soup, and called the nurse to clean up the spill. an attendant came in to wipe it away. then i had a little therapy(i had a cast on my leg at the time). they asked me to stand and immediately fell because the floor was oily from the soup. then they seemed to be rushing me out i had medicar so it wasn't because of insurance. i still could not walk because of ms. they sent two young kids down stairs with me and i fell again on hospital grounds. i am 300lbs and they knew i couldn't walk. i believe they were rushing me because i might have filed a claim against them. but i was going through the worst part at the time my voice was slurred i couldn't be understood. now the ms has gone into remission & i feel well enough to pursue this. has it been to long for me to file a claim against the hospital?

The question you need to focus on is not the time, that is the statute of limitations, for filing an injury claim, but whether you have a valid claim against the hospital for negligence based on the facts stated above. You may want to speak to an injury attorney to find out what whether you have a valid claim under the current tort laws in Florida.
