Legal Question in Product Liability in Florida

I bought a used car in Florida 1 month and 8 days ago, and now it's broken down. I took it to a mechanic and I am told that the problem is too complex (electrical problem), and I will have to take it to the specific model's dealership and it will cost a lot of money. Can I hold the used car dealership responsible in any way? I spent $7k on this car.

The answer to your question depends on a lot of things. Most used cars are sold as-is, or with very limited warranties, so you probably don't have any recourse against the dealership. However, you should take it back there and see if they'll stand behind their sale and fix it for you. They probably don't have a legal obligation to do so, but they might do it just for good customer relations.
