Legal Question in Product Liability in Florida

Last November I started taking two vitamins that I had just bought. I developed shortness of breath, dizziness and palpitations which lasted for a couple of weeks or so. Went to the ER after a the first few days where everything was normal except a couple of out-of-range lab results. Followed-up with primary a couple of days later who thought it might be a virus. A couple of other lab results that he ordered were out-of-range, but he didn't comment on them. I eventually thought there might be a connection between the vitamins and the symptoms at that time so I stopped taking them. A week or so later the symptoms resolved.

Then after running out of the 90 capsules that replaced the ones I thought might have been implicated, I took them again. The same symptoms developed, so I called the supplier and reported my concerns about the products and asked to be reimbursed for my medical expenses. They requested that I return the product to them and that any consideration of reimbursed expenses were contingent upon that and submission of my documentation.

So after all that, my question is, how can I protect my interests and provide them with what they need to make a determination?

Thank you very much.

I would not send the evidence back to them. Keep it. I strongly suggest you see a lawyer. There may be a class action case here. I handle such cases. See www.FL-PI-Lawyer.com
