Legal Question in Product Liability in Florida
Being offered 60% of award, lawyer 40% and then I pay all the costs and expenses. Is this a typical split?

Usually 40% if suit is filed, but not all the time if you sign a waiver.

Lawyers usually take accident cases on a contingency running from 33 !/3 % to 40%. Expenses are usually but not always taken off the top before fees are computed. Check the agreement you signed.
