Legal Question in Product Liability in Florida
Website Domain Name
Hi.. I recently purchased a website and a yellow page add in the real yellow pages and yellowpagecom. It took them a month and a half to complete the site and the add in the book was completed a couple of months later as planned! Now I noticed that my first choice of domain names wasn't chosen because the site came out as my second choice as they said they would do if my first choice wasn't available. I made the mistake of assuming that would get communicated to the yellow page print department. It did not and they printed my first choice, which costs from 7 to $13,000 from a private owner. My question is, are they're services to me considered complete since the web page is finished, or is it complete when the domain name in my add matches the actual site name? If the problem isn't corrected, can I bring up a suit for moneys already paid, lost possible-money, and money I could have possibly made in the future? I am very limited in clicks to this somewhat expensive site and they're saying atleast my phone number is in the book!

Re: Website Domain Name
The fine print of the contract you signed when you bought your ad contains all kinds of disclaimers and releases, so you are almost certainly "screwed" (legal term there!). Your best bet is to complain when renewal time comes around and I think that you will find that they will reduce your cost or provide you with free advertizing space.
