Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
In 2011 I did a rent to own aggreement with someone who never actually moved into the place but paid the payment and taxes and insurance up until now. He and I never had the documents filed or even notorized. Now his health is poor and he moved to porto rico and has stopped making payments. Everything is legally still in my name including the deed. Can I change the locks and rent of sell it. This is a mobile home in Florida.

You need to take your written and signed agreement to an attorney to review to determine what your rights are regarding the property. Have you reached out to the person in Puerto Rico? Does he agree with your taking over the property? if so, you need to get that authorization in writing.
