Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Access to pond

I own a piece of property with a pond next to it. My property line is actually 15 or 20 feet into the pond. Do I have the right to access the whole pond or just the part that is on my property?

Re: Access to pond

While all owners can use the entire pond your right of access is limited to the property you own.

RESPONSE: Unless the coast guard is after you, what's the difference? Are the fish better on the other side of the lake? Technically, if you don't own it or have an easment in gross or license or consent to use it then no, you cannot go on to another person's property , and would be a trespass.
