Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I am being accused of vandalizing a guy's car. The only information the guy has on me is my name and birth date. He kept getting in contact with me telling me that he's taking this to the district court or something. He said he can prove that I did it by text messages. I told him that is not sufficient evidence to accuse me of vandalizing his car.
He was telling me that the officer said I can be fined or arrested but I do not think that they can get a warrant or even touch me without proper evidence.
My question is Can They Indeed Arrest Me Or Get A Warrant For Me? & How Can They Just Go With Text Messages As Proof To Arrest Or Fine Me?

If the accuser reported the matter to the police, they will investigate the matter and contact you. I am not sure what the warrant would be for and if what this man is saying is true, then why haven't they questioned, fined or arrested you yet? If he files a civil lawsuit against you, it will be up to the judge to decide. You can answer the complaint, deny his allegations and challenge any evidence he offers. I suggest you stop speaking with this person. For any additional information or representation, consult with an attorney. Regards,
