Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Adding my husband's name to a timeshare
In 2003 I purchased a timeshare in Florida. --name removed--my husband was not travelling with me--name removed--the time only my name was involved in the purchase. I was told that it was quite easy to add his name after it was paid off. It has been paid off since 2005 and I would like to simply add his name to the deed. Is this a difficult process? Is it possible to do this myself? Is it possible to explain step by step what I need to do? Is the company that holds the title the only one that can add a name? What is the ballpark charge for such a service? Thank you so much.
