Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Affidavit Claiming Interest

I invested 100K in an LLC that was going to purchase a property. They return was supposed to be 22% in three months. The property supposedly had a buyer from the outset. We were supposed to be bought out. There has been one delay after another - nine months. The tax records show that our LLC and another one own the property. I am afraid that when it is sold, I won't be paid. Is there some way that I can file an Affidavit Claiming Interest in this property so that I won't be ''forgotten''? Thank you

Re: Affidavit Claiming Interest

Your interest is as a partner in the LLC. You have no individual interest. Retain local counsel. Good luck.
