apartment eviction
i have recieved an eviction notice today from my apartment complex and I have yet to talk to them i have the rent money today also it is late and yes they had given me a three day notice. what happens if i pay them the rent money tomorrow can they cancel the eviction

Yes, they can cancel the eviction if they choose but they are not required to do so. Under the law, you were supposed to pay the rent when due under the terms of your lease agreement. When you failed to pay, they had to give you a three day period after the notice in which to pay. After you failed to pay, they filed the Complaint.
At this time they have incurred court costs and legal fees if they hired an attorney. They will most likely want more money to cover these expenses if they are even willing to discuss this with you which they are not obligated to do.

It would be unuaual to receive an "eviction notice". It should either be a notice to pay within three days or get out, or it would be service on you be the sheriff of the filing of an eviction complaint. What ddid you receive?
