Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Apartment Nightmare

My family and I moved into an apartment in March of last year. We are renting a 3 bedroom and only able to use 2 of them. There has been a horrible odor in the 3 bedroom and throughout the rest of the apartment when the washer, dryer and airconditioner is on it is like rotten fish. I have a new baby and a 10 year old. I have been suffering from Migraines and I have developed a seizure disorder and my eyes are always burning now and I have never had seizures before (not heredity I already checked). I am so frustrated with this situation I don't know where to turn. I am now unable to drive because of the seizures and lost a good job. I have asked the apartment complex to fix the situation because I am unable to stay in the apartment at times it is so bad. Everytime the apartment manager or maintenance people come out they say I don't smell a thing I don't know what you are talking about. This has been going on for 7 months and I am fed up. I asked to be refunded the difference in rent between a 2 and 3 bedroom I was laughed at. What are my rights and how can I find an attorney with very limited funds for a retainer? Please help.
