Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I asked a previous question about a landlord evicting you and breaking and trashing the posessions. The answer was no they can't but you have to move when asked. First we didn't know what day it was and it was done all wrong and we paid the landlord company they just didnt call the police to stop it. Do we have a case?

Hi, I answered your previous question. The LL must follow procedures for eviction which are outlined in FL Statutes. You may have a case if your LL did not follow procedure and trashed your possessions. If procedure was followed, a sherriff's deputy would come and get you out within 24 hours, during which time you have to take you and all of your possessions out of the premises immediately. The LL may not use self-help measures and/or trash your property. So, yes, you have a case if what you say is correct, and if I understand the situation correctly.

Email me for further help. I have represented many tenants who were wronged by their landlords.
