Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My aunt bought a house in Orlando under duress from realtor and builder. 48k deposit. She backed out with bank denial of mortgage. Builder kept 48k and subsequently sold the house. Aunt's lawyer told her arbitrator ruled against her. Said the hearing was oral, no record made. He will not give her the ruling in writing. Does this seem fishy?

Could be, but if you tell me your Aunt was represented by legal counsel, I would bet there is far more going on that you don't know about. Your Aunt needs to speak with her counsel, and you can request that you attend if your Aunt will agree.

Arbitration is typically oral argued, but there is a written ruling. However, there are not normally appealable.
