Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

my bank sent my mortgage to a lawyer eons ago. The law group has done nothing with it and I never heard from them. I finally got a buyer for my home and I asked my bank for the payoff amount, they said I have to call their lawyer. I finally get the payoff amount today and it has over 3K of their fees, including an $800 fee for Service of Process. They have not served me with anything, they have never even notified me that they filed for foreclosure. Do I have to pay all of their fees and this Service of Process fee?
