What is the benefit of having names of children on the new purchased home to alleviate future problems vs. waiting and doing a quick claim deed?

Impossible to answer this question without more detail. Having other names on deed as survivorship ownership can eliminate the need for probate on the asset. A quit claim deed only serves to transfer whatever interest you may have to someone else or others in joint tenancy. It cannot be used to avoid probate, unless done while you are alive. You need to seek some competent legal advice to get whatever you want done.
