Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Was "blackmailed" into giving my realtor half of commission. ( They told me they would not get contract if I didn't. Also, they were leaving their broker!! Do I have any leg to stand on not paying the rest? I have a lease purchase in Brevard Co. It is supposed to be a 1 1/2 year lease purchase. Due in August. The renter has paid $50000 so far, and is possibly wanting to pay an additional $125,000 now and extend lease. Can I just sign over a quit deed then if she pays balance with cash? Thanks
