Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I bought a home for cash and 4 years later quit claimed it to my son. The home is in foreclosure now and there is a scheduled hearing on it. Can I go to the hearing since I was contacted and ask for the house back?

These facts are missing some pieces. Who put a mortgage on the home? Your son or you? If you did, you are still responsible on that mortgage. If your son encumbered the property, you have no interest in it anymore and you cannot just take it back. You could pay the mortgage and be substituted in their place. You could wait for the foreclosure to be completed and you can purchase at the foreclosure sale. There are other options as well. Seek some legal help with all your facts.
