Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My boyfriend and I lived in his home he purchased,He later quit deed it to me ,it was notarized,however,I lost the original and only had a copy.I didnt file the deed with the courts, 2 years went by with us living together ,doing this time I did all kinds of repairs to home,carpet ,tile ,paid the mortgage etc,then we got married April 9th 2009, then 2 weeks after we got married he quit deed the same house to his sister,this one wasnt notarized,he later Feb 10,2010 he had it notarized and file.Do I have any claim to the home that I invested so much in.

no, but you have may have an equitable lien for the $ invested.
