Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My boyriend and I bought this house 8 years back, I put up the downpayment. He's been in and out of work since and he cannot contribue anymore what are my options?

Well, you could buy him out, if he has equity in the house. Or, he could simply deed over his interest to you without any payment from you, if he has no equity in the house. Those are two options, for starters.

Depends on how you hold title, but you could try to buy him out or partition the property if he won't agree to sell you his portion. Regards,
