Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
buider did not live up to contract
The builder has not finished building my house in the 2 years as per contract. I hired a real estate lawyer and she has sent letters registered for release and the return of my $22.000.00 deposit returned.for breaking contract, Builder does not respond.Is my only chose to sue.? But It will probably cost more to sue. How does builder get away with just ingoring the lawyer & legal system in Florida. Help please.

Read your contract. Was time of the essence? Has it been made of the essence? How close are they to a closing? The proper letter will put you in a postion to sue, if necessary.
