Building house on parent's property
Hello,
My Mom lives on an acre of land,she has offered to sell us 1/2 so we can build. The bank is being difficult how complicated is it for her to sell or gift us the land? She is now telling us just to build since it is her property,what is the best way to do this? Thank you,Susan

She is wrong. You cannot build until zoning restrictions have been determined and you own the land.
