buyer forced to use specific title company by seller atty

As a buyer, I could not purchase a home unless I used a specific title company. I was forced use be the sellers Title company which was also the sellers attorney. Is this legal in Broward County, Florida? Thanks for a reply.

Since the buyer pays for title in Broward County the buyer can contract to use any company. If you were not happy with the requirement you should not have agreed in the contract. I can understand why you are uncomfortable having to use the sellers attorney for title. You may want your own attorney to check this out.
