buying a home

i am going to buy a home and having it put on a lot i own. the problem is that now i am living with someone. how can i make sure that he cant have ownership right to the home. the lot was purchased before i knew him.

Are you married to this person?

Don't put his name on the deed and don't have any mortgage held jointly with him. In other words, put everything in your name only.
