Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Buying a House

Can I buy a house at age 17 in Florida? I have steady income. I'm pretty sure that if I enlist I could since I would then be emancipated and considered an adult. What about as a civilian?

Re: Buying a House

Your problem is you would need a party will to let you sign a contract to buy a house. If you could get some one to do that they would run the risk of you dis affirming the contract. Though the other party could overcome that why should they run the risk and expense.

Its not the law that saw you can't make a contract because you do so all the time. Its the fact that for a contract of that size you might not find anyone willing to contract.
