Cancelling a Real Estate Agreement

I reside in New Jersey. While in Florida, On Monday 4/13, we signed a Lot reservation and model price freeze agreement and made a $5,000 deposit. Do I have any review period and rights of recission (3 day law)? Can I cancel the check for the deposit? Will there be any backlash from doing so.
