Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
We have been caring for an elderly women in florida for 11 months and she signed the title to her mobile home over to us in Dec 2009 for staying here with her forever and caring for her. Now she and her family have desided that they want us to move out. We have been paying the lot rent here for 6 months and most of the other bills. Plus we have done alot of repairs to the home. Need advice

The title establishes who owns the home. Did she have the right to deed the property over to you? Was it properly recorded? Without knowing more, no one can give you any specific advice. If you are tenants without a lease, then the landlord can give you written notice to terminate the tenancy (check the Florida statutes for the amount of time necessary). An attorney will have to get all of the facts from you to provide you legal advice regarding your situation. Good luck!
This fails under a rule of mine which is "No good deed goes unpunished."
You could be right, but you may have to defend your position. If they find any evidence that you took advantage of her, it could be serious problems. However, your acts of maintaining the property and taking care of her helps your case.
Hopefully the elderly women is competent to make decisions.
