Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Common Real Estate Ownership
If two people bought a piece of land together 1/2 each. And one of them never paid for it. Is their a way to take their ownership away? What can be done to resolve this problem?
Thanks

Re: Common Real Estate Ownership
It would depend upon the initial agreement to buy.
If there was none the court would probably consider it a gift.

Re: Common Real Estate Ownership
it depends on the initial agreement and how the property was taken. Meaning the relationship of the parties and the legal title to the property on the deed. Any action taken by an owner would most likely come down to the intent of the parties at the time of transfer.
