condo in florida

i bought a condo in fla. the owners up stairs had a leaky hot water tank. it flooded me. the ins. co. turned down my claim.i need to know if i should hire a lawyer or don't i have a chance?

Unless you can prove prior notice of a defect, you have no chance of winning.
