Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Condo Nazi

I was wondering what legal remedies a condo owner could fall back on if they felt wronged by a condo association. I am a condo owner in a trendy south beach condo complex, I pay my extremely high condo dues every month, however, everytime I ask for a service to be rendered, or a repair to be made, I am ignored. I have written several letters to the condo association, and each time the association chairman states that the problems will be taken care of, however, nothing is ever done. I was thinking of retaining an attorney in order to take care of this small but pesky problem. What is your advice?

Re: Condo Nazi

I agree with you. Retain a lawyer experienced in condo law and litigation. Perhaps once you finally hit the association with a lawyer's letter or complaint, your problems and reasonable requests will no longer be ignored. Seek the advice of counsel in your area and good luck.
