Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
The condominium where I live is comprised of 75 appartments, each of 2,000 sq.ft each with 2 bedroom/2 bath, and of 30 town homes of 4,000 sq.ft each with 3 bedroom/3 bath, double the size of appartments. Yet the owners of the appartments are charged the same amount monthly in condo fee assessment as the owners of the town homes even though they are twice the size, and the explanation is that the facilities are used equally by everyone. My belief is that facilities have nothing to do with condo fee assessment, rather the size of each property should dictate how much each unit is assessed!
Please, tell me a legal opinion. Thank you.
