Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Condominium repairs
Last yr, I and all the owners of the condominium where I live got an assessment of $21,000 for several repairs that were long due. When their contractor was repairing the stucco wall finish outside my balcony, they broke the marble floor on my balcony in several places. I've asked them for compensation so I can repair/replace that floor and their answer was..'it is your responsability because we sent a letter to all the owners saying that there could be damage during construction...''. It is nonsense to me to damage something when repairing it. Can I sue the Assoc for the cost of the repair/replace of the marble floor?

No. Your claim is against the contractor.
