Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
contract with a builder to build an addition
I signed a contract and gave the builder 18,500 6 months ago. Nothing is happening so I decided to end the contract. It says nothing about keeping any of my money. Now he wants to only give me 50%. Can he do this?

Depends on what the contract says, and if silent on the issue, on various other factors.

No one can answer without first reading the contract.

It would depend on the language of the contract. You should have a real estate attorney to review the documents. The firm I work for firm handles cases in this area of law, and we practice in your community!! If you need assistance e-mail us at [email protected]
