Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Contractual Dispute

My male companion (of thirteen years)and I own a home, that is in the process of being sold. It's titled in both of our names, with joint rights of survivorship. I want the total sale split 50/50, with two checks. There's no mortgage on this property. My companion does not want to split it 50/50.He was planning on leaving me after the house was sold (this is not the home that we live in),is there any way he can squeeze me out of the sale and keep the total sale for himself?
